Has anyone done a quark decomposition?
I'm trying to be brave and give it a try.

Re: Has anyone done a quark decomposition?
Hi Mami,
I did it with a T-Scanner. viewtopic.php?p=338763&hilit=t+scanner#p338763
Daystar contacted me afterwards to check it in their fab. But the guy never (yes, you Mark!) answered my emails. Therefore I gave up on Daystar.
As soon as I am in the mood I will put it on my optical bench and play with it a bit more...
The question, which was forming in my mind: why do you want to disassemble it?

Thank you for sharing. I'm just curious. So I opened it. It's similar to a t-scanner, but the number of lenses is very small. I will reveal the inside of the quark soon.Bastelhannes wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 5:37 am Hi Mami,

Please be aware, there is some optical oil between the surfaces. You can't replace it with olive oil...

I'll reveal it. It doesn't take long. The inside was simpler than I thought.
