September 03 2022 Ha&CaK closeups, Sep.04 added

Post by LeoD »

Hi all,
This is the result of Saturday's session. The bad seeing with some rare improvements, good enough for 6". I made comparison of the very active region 3089 at C-level both in Ha and CaK, and the SE quadrant pano.
Ha: 152/1200, R-CCD and UV/IR as internal ERF, Quark Chromo, 174
CaK: 120/1000, B-CCD, Lunt1800, 5x, 174

regards
Leo

Thanks for kind comments, guys!
Yes, it is, Franco, for granulation in Ca and limb details processing, although with SS Quark anyway there is a double limb effect, which I didn't faded completely.
thanks for looking

Thanks to all of you, much appreciated!
In addition, it is Sunday imaging report about the same Ha&CaK comparison of AR3089 and the loooong filament together with C-flare in AR3093.

Me too, and that's because it's the only chance I have for seeing the Sun! At least it's stopped raining and lightning, but the cloud is a-lingering!

I'm really impressed with your warm comments, thanks a lot!
Concerning the seeing it's better to show SSM chart (for example, time of the image in CaK marked). Very few and short lucky moments less than 1,5" forced me to stack 50 frames only, instead of my usual 200+, and than got rid of the noise more carefully.
clear skies!
