The sun on a hazy Sept 17

Post by gabrieli »

The seeing appeared steadier than usual in a hazy sky today but, at the same time, made images appear softer. I can already tell the sun is not as high as it used to be. The main feature of interest was a large filament on the limb which is presented below. I also have several versions of a full disk. Hopefully viewers will have one they prefer in the bunch.
