Solar experiments 22.09. - New pictures 23.09.

Post by pupak »

Today I tried a combination of LS80 and Quark etalons. The blocking filter and telecentric element was replaced with a TV4x PMT and I placed the B1200 blocking filter just behind the Quark. Without a bloking filter, the set gives images in white light, see example. Used camera again Saturn with IMX533M and Apollo IMX432.
The weather was terrible. Rain, wind and terrible seeing. That made it more fun. :D

Today I change AR150/900 to AR150/1200 and TV4x PMT to TV5x PMT. Interesting result.
