Preview 1st prom animation Sun 16th Sept 2022

Post by Radon86 »

Hi All,

After pausing a few days, I managed to get an animation of the proms on the South East limb which I had posted as "Tears of the Sun"on 16th Sept 2022. I created an avi version running at 15 fps between 14:43 and and 15:52 hours UT;; total frames 54 (2 frames rejected), and aligned and processed in ImPPG and animated in PIPP. I resized the animated .gif to reduce file size, simply increase zoom to see it better (actual file size is 20 MB, and the .avi file is 104 MB), so too big for this site.

My first animation using my own data as well. At 5 fps you cannot see the movement so well.

Thank you Warren!

I have managed to upload the full size animation in animated .gif format.
Available from this dropbox link, about 20 MB size.

Thanks Franco,

I was just checking my files when working on an FD and it was actually Sept 14th that this captured, apologies for the error (not Sept 16th)

I thought it might have been the 14th as it looked just like the one I caught on that day!
