A busy sun on Sept 29

Post by gabrieli »

After some rare sessions, you just can't wait to start processing the day's files.
The main feature on the sun was a very dynamic looking filaprom. The limb features were bright enough to allow full disks to be processed as single images instead of composites. Unfortunately, there was also a bad realization involving the quality of one of my more expensive pieces of equipment which I'll talk more about as I try and resolve the issue.

The next 4 images were taken by double stacking a Quark chromosphere with my wobbly PST etalon.
