Playing with SOHO data in an image...

Playing with some data 🙂 On July 14 I took the picture below of the sun and wanted to play a bit with it to make a nice picture of it. I found the LASCO data from the SOHO satellite photographing the corona. This is the corona data from the same moment as my own recording combined in an artistic version of the recording. The corona data has been slightly reduced to connect to the sun (there should actually be about half a sunradius in between), so that this looked a bit nicer.

Very nice!! It shows the relation of the Ha solar disc to the corona!!
