AR13105 and AR13107 in Ha 28th September 2022

Post by Carbon60 »

Limited time this morning with one thing or another, so I concentrated on the two closely associated active regions 13105 and 13107 using my 150 mm double stacked refractor.

The seeing conditions were reasonable, but not great, so I kept the exposures at 3 ms and added some gain to bring the brightness to acceptable levels to try to freeze out the turbulence. I used my usual Basler acA1920-155um camera, Genika Astro for image capture, AS!3 for stacking, ImPPG deconvolution/sharpening and PixInsight for finessing. Images are shown either as two pane or four pane mosaics to cover the necessary ground with my 2.5x PM.

Many thanks, Mark, Brian and Valery.

Mark, yes, unfortunately the building work is still ongoing. Maybe it will be completed by the end of October. We can only hope.

Valery, I hope you're holding out okay there.
