Full Disk and animation of activity at AR3107 10/3/2022

Post by rigel123 »

A nice morning although seeing could be better but I'm not complaining! No clouds during this animation but of course as the sun rises, so does the intensity so used Pixingsight to balance the histogram which worked out well. Quite a bit of eruptive prom activity popping out of that departing AR during this 1 hour real time animation. Lunt LS60T DS, ASI174MM and Meade 3X TeleXtender for the animation. More animations to come after I stop sitting and give my back a rest! There was a lot to look at today!

Full Disk (easy to see on the SW limb why I quickly focused my animation on that area!)

Not wanting to be outdone the NE Limb had it's own activity! Not sure if this is part of the huge AR3112 complex or a new AR rotating into view that is on the limb!

Thanks Mark! My capture started at 12:56 UTC and ended at 13:54. Definitely the same region where this spike was.
