Active Regions AR3112 , 3110, and 3113
Yesterdays viewing in Brisbane was bad I tried some white light but gave up as the atmosphere was too unstable due to a high pressure system off the coast.
So I moved on to H alpha and managed to get two 30 minute animations before the seeing made it impossible to get any good captures.
The H alpha images were taken with my120mm F/8.3 refractor, 2" 7nm Ha filter as internal ERF , TZ4 , Combo Quark and ASI174mm Camera.

Thanks Warren, I was amazed how bright the flare activity was.

Thank you for sharing these Martin.
It is fascinating to see the flares expanding simultaneously outwards from the epicentre in the second animation.
Much like a central blast but with the expanding wavefront partially hidden, at times, within the active surface layer.

Superb work.
I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.
