Nothing exciting just a quick spin with the 152 before I get ready and head out to Arizona for the SOL event with Focus Astronomy this Saturday.
Very minimal processing, just stacked and shove thru IMPPG.

Re: 2022 10 20 - Lunt 152 Single Stack
The first three and especially the first are fantastic Simon!!!
Congratulations!
The first, but also the 2nd and 3rd have so much 3D aspect... Is it sure that this was only single stack? Is it just the process that creates the 3D effect???
Did you use the Lunt etalon or some other?
Congratulations once more. You have reached a very high level of quality in your solar images!
Best wishes,
Alexandros

Its a single stack pressure tuned Lunt 152 and all i ran it through was IMPPG, nothing else.H-Alpha wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 12:55 am The first three and especially the first are fantastic Simon!!!

great details
isn't it quite unusual with such a dense prominence (AR3122) ?

Good work Simon.
Just wondering what camera you used and the pixel scale. What is the seeing on this image at the time (atmospheric conditions) were.
I am saying that it is an excellent image, but I would expect that for the outlay (>18000 dollars or pound sterling) including mount, ERF, filters, camera, computer, SSD).
