100h Astronomy - Outreach session Portugal

The Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project has been spreading Solar Astronomy via various forms of public outreach since 2008 and strongly encourage members to share their love of everything Solar with others. This forum is for outreach ideas and inspirations, etc. Please tell us how you do it or ask us how.

I had a busy afternoon and great weather here in Portugal - 30ºC

We had lots of people observing the Sun from different countries, Portugal, Italia, Russia, UK, France...

That's fantastic to hear :)

We have a partial eclipse on the 25th October and it would be lovely to do outreach at work, however it is bound to be cloudy or raining :(

Radio meteor detector.
