8th Nov Lunar eclipse

Post by JohnW »

8th Nov. From SE Australia.
I took this single exposure image of the lunar eclipse (before totality) from my front yard. 8.58 pm AESST.
Canon 550d camera with 300 mm lens and 1 second exposure at 400 iso.
There were obviously clouds around and trees but this added to the experience.
Thanks for viewing.

How wonderful!! I do think lunar eclipses are spectacular to watch :bow :hamster: I wish we had one in Europe at a reasonable hour as we haven't had one for ages.

Hi,

Well done. Were are you located ?

Here in Mexico it started clear and after an hour clouds rolled in. We waited until 03:20 but then closed the observatory. Just beginning the day and it is cloudy. Totally closed.

:(
