" Día de los Muertos " Day of the Dead

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

A typical Mexican tradition is the " Día de los Muertos " or Day of the Dead or Day of the passed away ...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_of_the_Dead

My wife every year sets up an altar with Photographs of the departed as well as drinks, food and customs they had. Like my Son in Law liked to play Domino and have a glass of Brandy, my Wife's brother liked to smoke or whatever they did do.

The lady on the right is called " Catrina "

I guess she will face trouble after my passing away ... Setting up my telescopes on the altar ...

There are some really beautiful colours there Rainer. It is a lovely way to remember passed family members, I like the idea about your wife having to set up a telescope each year, maybe you should buy her a quick set and go PST now and get in the training :)

I have watched a few film animations about this day and they were very enjoyable and made us think. If only I could remember the names, the most recent was very good indeed.

You'll need to use a Questar as a stand-in for the rest of the collection ;-)
