Quiet day for animations 11/21/2022

Post by rigel123 »

Seeing was poor when I started so I did 45 minutes on a full disk, which you can compare with the still of the disk to see if you can see what even changed! I had hoped for a bit more activity from closeup a bit later of the filaprom and AR3150 on the NW limb but this area was pretty quiet during the 45 minutes I spent on it. A gorgeous day and almost balmy at 30F/0C! I did plug in the Lunt BF Heater and it did a much better job this time around.

Inverted (maybe I should try the animation this way too!)

Full Disk Animation (really, there is a bit of movement other than the slightly shaky frames! I actually think the filaprom shows better in the animation)

Fantastic.

At least you got a good day in, Warren. Looks good! You got that NW filaprom much better than I could see it visually.

Thanks Maurits, James and Aaron! I think I'll be happy for whatever I can catch at this time of year. It was extremely nice out today so enjoying the sun to the fullest!

Beautiful work, Warren. I am very impressed by the performance of your Lunt 60, probably one of the best around, coupled with your capturing and processing skills.

It seems to out perform my Coronado 60. It has a more evenly tuned and lit field!
