Pedro,
Very nice work. Which one do you prefer between the Lunt 152 and the TeleVue 127 for CaK imaging? Both seem to do very well.

Thanks again guys

James: for FD CaK imaging the TV NP127 is very good. The LUNT152 is also good but not all refractors perform well in the blue end of the spectrum. Takahashi TOA refrafctors are the best in this respect

Pedro, a lot of that is because of spherical aberration I think. It shows up more in the short wavelengths by what I have read. The Tak TOA refractors excel because they are well corrected for SA. I am surprised you don’t have a TOA 130 or 150.

James: Check out this fantastico Video (turn on the english subtitles)

https://youtu.be/gKo6md2lXXo
Le SOLEIL en HAUTE RÉSOLUTION (Christian Viladrich - RCE2021)

Christian uses a TOA150 for HR CaK imaging. Christian's HR images are the best I've seen so far.

Christian's talk is fantastic. I'm not sure if you can turn on english subtitles but you can always see the amazing HR images

Christian is certainly among the best I have seen too, his photosphere stuff is excellent too. I would love to have a TOA, especially the 130 because it is lighter. The 150 is a beast and one would need an observatory, which you have. I will watch the video. Thanks Pedro.
