Re: Dodging the clouds 6 December 2022
Beautiful work on all. I especially like the second inverted image and the following 540nm image. What was the make of scope used on the 540nm image? Sky-Watcher? Astro-Tech?
Two thumbs up!!

Lovely set of image Clare and Peter. All good but this time the full disks have really grabbed my attention.

Re: Dodging the clouds 6 December 2022
I almost bought one of those but settled on the Astro-Tech AT72EDII instead. It has two ED elements Vs the SW72's one. Still the EvoStar is rated well and is well liked.Averton wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 10:20 amThanks James.DeepSolar64 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 6:13 am Beautiful work on all. The Astro-Tech would be a very nice unit James. One of the reasons we got the SW was easy availability in Australia. So far, we are quite happy with it for our applications.
