I've been using a Point Grey (now Teledyne/FLIR) Grasshopper 3 with ICX674 sensor for a number of years now, and am thinking of upgrading to something with a higher frame rate. The Blackfly with IMX421 is a possibility, with essentially equivalent pixel/sensor size (4.5 um with 1936x1464) but 5x the frame rate (130 fps). It has a CMOS sensor with global shutter. Has anyone had experience with this camera/sensor for solar imaging? My forum search came up empty.
Thanks very much,
Kevin
