Boxing day prominence

Sketched this very quickly on the morning of the 26th (near Sydney, Australia) through a SS lunt 100mm Ha scope.I set up around 8.15 am and peering into the eyepiece was presented with a stunning and very complex prominence on the east edge, and by the time I got set up to sketch, it had dramatically changed shape, and was changing as I skeched. By 9am it was all over. I watched the video on GONG after the event, very impressive lift off. Seing was excellent and was sketched through a 5mm (143x)and 3.5mm (204x) Pentax XW. A Vixen 2.4mm HR eyepiece (297x) showed stunning detail at the spicule layer where the prom was anchored.
