Glory and interesting clouds from 6-Jan-23

Post by KMH »

I saw a decent-looking glory and some interesting clouds on my morning flight yesterday. It almost made getting up at 6am worth it. OK - not quite - I'm not a morning person!

That is a really sharp image and beautiful Glory :hamster: :bow I've only seen one once before but the window was so bad the image is rubbish. Thank heaven for a clean window :)

Yes, I'm curious about what caused that formation. We were over flat terrain at the time, so it doesn't seem likely to have been topography.
