15th Jan 2023 Ha and CaK

Post by Carbon60 »

A few from this morning when, unexpectedly, the sky turned blue for a while. The seeing conditions were quite poor, as is more often than not the case at this time of year.

First up are some FDs in Ha and CaK:

....and some closer views of the active regions. The conditions were not ideal, but you've got to make the best of what you get :)

There's plenty going on at the moment.

Hi Stu,

So nicely done! Very impressive results with large cannon.

Thanks for sharing.

Stuart,
These are great! It's amazing on how well you did with not so great seeing conditions. The Ha closeups show a plethura of detail and the full disk image looks really good too. You got a lot of detail on the white light too. Significantly higher resolution than I got today.

I love the CaK colored full disc image. Absolutely beautiful!!

All of these are just FAB Stuart. The Ha ARs particularly AR3190 & AR3191 are so wonderfully detailed. Bravo!
