Quick session on 2/1/2023

Post by rigel123 »

Lo and behold the sun made a brief visit yesterday afternoon so quickly grabbed some shots in Ha and CaK in pretty poor seeing and high clouds but nice to be outside despite the 29F temps! Lunt LS60T DS, ED80T with Lunt CaK BF1200, ASI174MM

Very nice set of pictures.

Thanks Pupak and Maurits! I lightend up that Ha FD just a bit. Fine on my laptop, it was dark when I first posted here!

Nice shots Warren, it does look like you were fighting the seeing but at least you saw the sun.

Good results, Warren. Sounds like you were working under challenging conditions for these quick grabs.

Thanks all! Yep, the image was a bit wavy on the screen, glad I didn’t try for an animation or I might have been really frustrated!

These are lovely Warren :bow :hamster: :movie I don't think I will see the Sun any time soon, we seem to be stuck under persistent cloud ;)
