Hi,

Still having fun ? :lol: with my Sol'Ex

Some images from yesterday as they came out of the SHG software from thesmiths

Question: I read about SLiM software from Wah. Where can I download it ?Is SLiM still up to date compared to INTI and SHG_MAIN from thesmiths ?

Hi,

Today I made some more tests and stopped down the telescope to f/7.5 while the ones on top where made with f/4.

The software does exaggerate a bit in darkeing the image when there is a flare like in this case ...

Great results Rainer and much sharper when using scope at f/7.5.

Bresser 90 f/10 achromat used for CaK & white light imaging & PST mod with Lunt 100mm ERF
Coronado SM40 (pre Meade) and BF10 filter set + SMII 60 richview DS etalon
Skywatcher EQ6 Pro and Ioptron CEM60
Then there is all the night kit which is far too long a list to write up here! :lol:

Thanks and below an image of how the slit looks in the camera at widest Sun diameter. Had to convert about 4800 frames into JGP :lol:
