Lovely conditions today after a frosty night

Stayed clear all night so the aurora was visible despite 40% moon. Lucky!

That’s a beautiful disc and an even more beautiful Aurora. I would have loved to have seen it. SpaceWeatherLive has had numerous Kp6 and Kp7 alerts during the night and early morning.

Awesome animation on the aurora! That reminds me of the last one I saw up in Michigan probably over 30 years ago.
