Hi-Res HA images with C11 + ARIES ERF + Daystar Quark

Post by yltansg »

12 Mar 23. Fired up the C11-ARIES ERF -Quark HA setup this morning after a long period of slumber. The setup:

Seeing was between fair and poor, could see very unstable video during capture. Glad that everything is working after a few months where the setup was left in the garden under 2 layers of canvas. Some images from this morning session:

Hi alfred, great shots the hi resolution of the c11 will allow you to obtain very detailed closups. Do you use the daystar combo plus a telecentric barlow ?

Hi Cte,

I place the Quark (with its Integrated telecentric 4.2X barlow) at the output of the C11 and a x0.5 reducer at the output of the Quark before the Basler camera.
