March 28 2023. Slooh Ha.

Post by DeepSolar64 »

Today I have had cloudy conditions all morning and afternoon with no breaks in them for a view so I accessed the Slooh Lunt 60 feed at the Teide Observatory in the Canaray Islands today. Here are two of the captures covering most of our star. The time snapped is in the image file name.

James

Update: Just before leaving to work at 2:26pm I got a brief thinning of cloud and was able to faintly pick out five spots on the solar disc with the 8x32 Lunt SUNoculars. I had no time to identify the regions or study them in detail as I am now leaving for work. Have a good day/night, everyone.

You are welcome, Maurits. I had a go today at some quick imaging. I'll post very shortly.

I noticed that between those posted images which were an hour apart that the filament just east of AR13262 had disappeared! AR13262 was south of the center of the disc on the Central Longitudinal Meridian on Tuesday.
