Superb.
I do not look at the sky with the eyes of an astronomer, but of a person looking for the beauty of nature.

Re: a nice animation in minimum transparency conditions
This is fascinating. The limb flare appears to be associated with the eruption of the long, intense filament passing over the south eastern limb. It will be interesting to see if a major active region passes over the limb into view over the next couple days. The rise and twist of the plasma is classic. Curious, the two down flow streams, the northern down flow moves away (south) from the surges in the limb flare. The sudden eruption of filaments and their association with flaring is still poorly understood.....one of those 'which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Fantastic imaging and presentation!! Bravo! Bravo!

too bad, it was very fast I was able to capture 30 minutes of it on an event of one hour maximum.Sebastien Lebouc wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 4:04 pm Wahou!

I was lucky, the day before I thought it was going to spring up with a much better sky 5am on it and nothing changed.
There, I just looked at GONG at the right time and opened, mounted the camera, not even focusing, anyway it was so covered (average horizontal visibility at 10kms, at 15 I could just make out their shape) that I would have had a hard time doing it. Fortunately the diameter in these cases helps I think a little

Sebastien , we really need to find a way to alert by sms
