Saturday Disks 20th May

Post by marktownley »

Saturday was lovely clear skies, but as usual life was busy, and after a couple of hours at work first thing I had a brief 45 minute gap before we had to head out for a friends birthday party in the afternoon. I had hoped for more images in my 45 min window, but the Ha was just not behaving in terms of an even field of view, after 20 minutes of fiddling a tweaking I was still getting nowhere so resided to a strip down and rebuild on sunday morning (which worked). So, ended up with WL and CAK full disks, the WL being taken 80mm f7.5 with the Lunt wedge and the zwo183mm camera, the CaK 60mm f10 with the zwo183mm.

Very nice FDs, Mark. Don’t you just hate it when equipment let’s you down?

Very nice results from the short session Mark! Annoying when things doesn't work as expected - especially when you are pushed on time.

Best regards,
Arne

Thanks Stu! It was a pain, but after re-seating everything was fine on Sunday.

Great shots! :bow :hamster:

It is a bit like me, lovely weather only because I have two busy weekends :(

At least you had a 45 minutes slot. I'm glad there was no hold ups on the motorway on Sunday and I was able to get back home and have time to solar view :)
