Solar FD with ED90/F7, DSII, IMX 432 26.05.2023
Yesterday afternoon I finished modifying the ED90/F7 to a solar special with a collimated DSII (LS80 + Quark). The sun was no longer within reach. I've been hunting for seconds since this morning when they appear in the clouds and haze. So far the test result is invalidated by bad conditions, so I will hope for a better tomorrow. Today at least a photo of the telescope and one sweaty solar FD.

Interesting looking setup Petr, looks like you have the LS80 setup for remote pressure tuning.

Yes, I have that and it works great.
The sun finally came out for a while, so I tried one more FD with the IMX533M. It's still not the same, but it's better. I still have a lot of work to do on the processing.

The edge blur bothers me. Something is wrong somewhere and I have no idea what it is.

Nice suit for the quark and well done, another configuration that works.
First image of the second series is my favourite, very good full disk.

That's a nice scope Petr. And your images aren't bad at all.
Your location has gotten nice and green. It seems that only a short while ago all was winter grey and you were setting up in the snow.

I love to see your scope creations Petr!
How do you clock the 2 etalons relative to each other? I can see there is a tilt between the 2 etalons with the on band region on the solar equator, gradually going off band in a poleward direction. It is a very promising start.
