Thanks to a very small group of incredibly generous, longtime supporters of the Charlie Bates Solar Astronomy Project/Sunlit Earth, WE MET OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL!!!
there is one more day left in the fundraiser so if you would like to participate, I will be sending everything raised over the goal to our Brazilian chapter led by the wonderful professor Marcelo Souza. no one, and I mean no one anywhere, works harder to spread the science of astronomy to his fellow countrymen than Marcelo.
Thank you to Bojan Scepanovic, Jerry Muane, Ben Kennedy, Rhonda McCarthy, Richard Wright, Matt Harbison, Mark Redgwell, Peter Woolliams, and Candace Taylor for your very generous donations to our STEM nonprofit!
I am so extremely humbled every time we reach this goal and promise you that your hard earned money is spent not on salaries or frivilous nonsense but on supporting science being directly brought to people around the world for a better community.
www.paypal.com/cbsap if you want to get in a last minute donation by the end of day Wednesday when the fundraiser ends.
