Active Regions in Ha 30th May 2023

Post by Carbon60 »

The morning started off beautifully blue, but by the time the Sun was within reach over the rooftops the clouds rolled in and I had to wait until late afternoon to set up and try my luck.

As is usual for me, the seeing conditions were dire and most SERs ended up in the bin. Two survived for further processing.

150 mm Double Stacked Refractor at f34 (with 2.5x PM)
Basler acA1920-155 um (IMX 174 sensor)
AS3! Stacking
ImPPG deconvolution and sharpening
PixInsight refining.

First up is AR13315

...then AR13319

These are softer than I would have liked, but you take what you can get (within reason).
The remaining ARs just didn't work out. Too blurry for me.

Thanks for looking.

Stu

I also took photos in crappy conditions today, but you did better than me. Very nice details.

Great looking shots Stu! We;ve been sat under cloud coming in off the north sea for a few days now, a right old pain!

Great Stuart :bow :hamster: I'm glad you are making good use of this sunshine even if the seeing is not quite so good.
