Intes M715 first light in Hα
On Wednesday I tested the Intes M715+Aries ERF+Lunt 50 etalon combination — and finally got good high-resolution Hα material. Even though the seeing wasn't exceptional (I'll post SSM readings later), the results beat anything I got out of the RC8 hands down. It seems I was having internal heating issues there after all, and Mak's corrector probably absorbs/reflects much of the IR passed by the ERF (before it gets focused on mirror bafles etc.).
Of course, it's not an optimal setup: feeding an f/15 (instead of f/7-8) beam to the etalon assembly means a smaller angular size of the sweet spot; still, it sufficed for my targets.
Everything captured with Blackfly S (IMX 273), processed in AS!3 and ImPPG. Note: right-click a video for looping and fullscreen options.
M4.7 flare in AR 3327 and some post-flare loops (20-second intervals, 0:48 h total, with breaks due to clouds):
(full-length video: link)
Prominence animation (25-second intervals, 0:42 h total):
Best seeing period; minor activity in AR 3329 - a microflare? There was nothing in the NOAA solar event list (15-second intervals, 0:25 h total): video link

Wow! Well you seem to know how to get the best out of your images! Wonderful flare catch and animation.

Fantastic pictures and aninimation. Intes is very good for solar using.

Great images! I also have a 7” Intes Rumak at f/10 and it performs very well on the Sun in H-Alpha. I’m going to prepare an astrosolar film filter for the continum and calcium light. I think you will enjoy your setup

Very nice results Filip! Looking forward to see what you can achieve with this setup under good seeing!
