Hi Alexandra,

Beautiful images in a beautiful place.

My favorite is the image with the cloud and the rain pouring out of it. Very well done.

Also the early morning images with the fog.

regards Rainer

Thanks for posting these Alexandra...the vineyard looks like a great getaway :bow

The solar viewing crowd is a nicer addition. Did nay of these folks have any idea of what the sun 'is' or how it 'work' (if you get what I mean) or was it a completely new experience to them?

BTW, my grapes are ready to harvest...could use your feet

Thanks everyone :) having a fantastic time. Brian, my feet are available to rent anytime, you just need to pay for the air fare

The storm was incredible, it kept getting bigger during night fall and I was able to capture a video of lightning going around the top.

I meant to ask Alexandra, did you have any issues bringing all you telescope and solar filter gear in/out of France?
Were you stopped by Customs and asked for receipts?

Customs was very different this time (post Brexit). Took 45 minutes to queue both in and out of France.

Outward, every car was searched thoroughly as they were looking for the escaped convict (from the day before). They were solely looking for him.

Inward, at Caen, the French police randomly picked our car out of the many (bad luck). They too were looking for people (migrants). The police lady searched the back and asked questions whether anyone could fit in the telescope case (she didn't like the look of it). The hubby laughed and said it would be a squeeze to fit in there with her telescope, the lady was not amused. No one asked about whether we had receipts etc. They seem to be primarily interested in people smuggling.
