Just a quick one on the G2 geomagnetic storm yesterday.
Here are my geomagnetic data recorded here in the UK. You can see when the CME that created the storm arrived...its the downward step in the upper chart at around 1:00pm

Unfortunately, the weather has been absolutely dreadful…so much rain with no chance of seeing the light show at all

Here's an update (18th - 20th Sept). The geomagnetic unrest is rumbling on.... At its peak, the storm reached G3 as shown in the NOAA data provided by the Space Weather Prediction Centre, which I've copied and aligned timewise with my own geomagnetic data.
