Hi,

Leonids seem to be over and it looks like there was some activity.

Below the result of the reference station in USA from Nelson and mine. There are just two RMO stations left in Mexico and those are Aguirre and mine, All other 3 or 4 stations I helped to set up went down the drain...

I am a little bit sceptic about my value of 461 signals...

Below a signal of a huge Leonid meteor I found in the ARGO software image. There are a few more but not that big.

Hi,

I just looked through some ARGO images. I save an image every 543 seconds so a iamge depicts a time span of 543 seconds or 9m3s.

Peak as predicted by e-zine meteor news was at 7:00 hours local time which is on my images now 13:00 hours UTC time. I changed the PC time in order to comply with the RMOB.ORG rules.

When I am sitting in the Obervatory I turn on the Loud speakers and it is nice to hear them "Ping" in a high pitched frequency

Well done Rainer and I am glad you are getting signals, it is a shame the other stations have stopped. I have listened to the pings live from a NASA site once and it was really cool. You are lucky as it was cloudy all weekend here so no chance of visual.

Hi Alexandra,

Clouds do not interfere with RMO observation.

Interesting are the results from today. Comparing Nelson USA and my station and looking at images there are a lot of signals today.

Again I am sceptic about my very high number compared to Nelson but looking at the images, yes there are a lot of impacts. Maybe my station is too sensitive?
