Solar prominence in H-Alpha in June

Post by Sergio Alessandrelli »

Hi to all

I've just uploaded a prominence time lapse (62') made last June from Rome with my Intes MK72 and a SolarSpectrum 0.5Å.

Here the link to the images posted on my astrobin gallery:

Bye, Sergio

Notice the plasma that spins up and falls back under the big prominence. Amazing!

The prom stills are nice too. I like the detail and color!

Our little star is full of activity and movement. I can't imagine what could be to shot a red giant or a big star like Sirius. Wonderful hobby ;)
