AR3576 Feb 7 stills and time-lapse HAlpha flaring
The magnetic storm group AR3576 was active, huge, complex, and beautiful again Wednesday and I just started to catch one of its larger flares as the sun moved into the trees of my backyard.
This complex region has sunspots larger in diameter than the Earth and it really puts the energy and forces into perspective during this 3-hour time-lapse of the sun's atmosphere (chromosphere).
