Huge prominence deployment today!

A quick look at the Sun this afternoon...to see a big prominence deploying itself more than 300 000 km above the solar surface! I just had time to take a few images before the return of coulds :o

I caught this prom a bit earlier using the Slooh Lunt 60. It really launched itself!!

Great catch Thierry! I was out about an hour after this big eruption due to a late clear sky. I did end up catching an M1.45 flare at AR3576 at least!

Interesting to see what happened to it around 3 hrs after I imaged it on the limb.
