Sol'ex - 2024 May 19 - 4 wavelengths

Post by astroshot »

Spent a bit of time on this lovely summer's day tinkering with the Sol'ex and with processing the resultant images in Photoshop - Camera Raw.
Below are a few samples in CaK, H Beta, H Alpha, and Sodium.
These were at 220mm FL.
The strange thing with Sodium is that I am getting a banding that I do not get at other wavelengths
Must look it it more.

Might step it up a gear next time and aim for 400mm FL next clear day.
