May 24th Short Session

Hi All...

I had another short lunch time session on Friday the 24th and was able to grab images to make a Ha full disk and enough to make a mosaic of the main AR's.

The full disk was imaged with the ASI1600MM/1.6x barlow through the Lunt LS80T/LS75FHa/B1800HA solar scope:

The NE limb had signs of AR3690 as it started to round the limb and the southern disk was heavily populated wit AR's 3679, 3674, 3655, 3686 and 3689 and are shown in the two mosaics below:

Time at the scope is limited with demands form customers to get crop planted, but on the positive side we had a break in the rains and a lot of progress has been made. My brother finished planting corn on Saturday morning, so now its time to get to the soybeans. He has quit shipping milk and dispersed the dairy heard so there is a lot of time freed up that would be been needed to harvest hay silage for the coming year.
