Hmmm, I've not noticed a difference Rainer but I have had the odd error messages turn up occasionally over the last week. Speed seems to be OK though. Let's see if anyone else has issues.

Hi Team ,

Ever since the Cloudfare entry check was removed recently the site has been incredibly slow to load again from here , I'm talking 20 seconds or so to load a page ... !

Anyone else finding similar ?

My end is working fine on every other site I visit whilst browsing.

I thought it might be hurricane related but I can't imagine that to be the case.

Steve, it is the same for me too.

There have been complaints that those who access the site with an Android phone (Apple seems OK) can't access the forum with the Cloudflare (no idea why as we have it at work and no one complains). It will be the denial of service due to bombardment again. We had hoped they would have all got bored and gone away but it seems not. I will contact Stephen again but he may not have internet access at the moment as the last time I heard he was bunkering down ready for the hurricane :(

Thanks Alexandra ,

The Cloudfare check being reinstated has sorted it for me , but I only use a laptop so the phone problem I can't comment on.

I did notice that when I got on this morning at about 04:30 (don't ask ... ) there was myself , the Bing bot and about 350 "guests" in attendance , I have no doubt these 'guests' were yet more unwanted AI intruders working the nightshift.
