Daytime fox visit

Post by KMH »

We had a pretty rare daytime visit from a gray fox yesterday. She was polite enough to pose for photos for several minutes!

We're in northern New Mexico. Our critter cam sees foxes all the time at night, but rarely during the day.

I think that's right. Last year at about this time we saw an obviously nursing female several times during daylight. It wasn't as obvious this time, but from some of the other photos it did look like she was probably nursing.
