Proms and AR from Sept 12

Post by gabrieli » Thu Sep 13, 2018 1:18 pm

I set up a seldom used scope for this outing knowing that, again, higher res imaging would not be possible.
The single stack setup consisted of a Baader 135mm ERF in front of an ES 102 scope with a Baader 3X telecentric + Quark Combo + tilt adjuster + Blackfly camera. The combination seemed to be a good match with a very even looking view and I expect better results when the sky is more "cleaned up". The sky ranged from variably hazy to completely covered.

These are lovely shots Lou, it is always good to have a low res set up as well :bow

Is the strange halo effect on the prom shot to do with the haze?
