FDs and Highlights from Nov. 1st and 2nd

Post by Astrophil » Sun Nov 03, 2019 3:46 am

These images were taken with the LS80 again using a 2.8Mp and 6.0Mp Grasshopper GX camera. The 2.8Mp camera had the 5x Powermate attached and the 6.0Mp a 1.5x Barlow. Still in the testing mode (me and the scope) and the images are a little crispy to say the least but I thought they might be interesting. November 1st full disk/prom combination then some regions of activity. Same for Nov. 2.

Phil

Hi Phil,

Excellent series of sun activity. Like them all.

BTW. First FD omage is a bit too contrasty to my taste.

They're a great set of images there Phil, you're getting some cracking shots with the Lunt80.
