Messaging another member via e-mail through this forum

Post by rsfoto »

Hi,

Looks like something is running bad in this forum.

I just contacted a member through this forum and send him an e-mail and I got it as if I would be the other member ¿?

Can somebody check that please ?

Rainer

I am sure there is something funny going on with the e-mail system on this forum. I only receive a fraction of my notifications back to my inbox and wonder if e-mails actually send. I have everything ticked to send messages to my email. Out of about 10 private messages I was sent recently only one sent a notification to my inbox. I was wondering whether it was BT but I find it strange that some (a minority) get through and most don't. I always used to get mails, so it is difficult to know whether it is the forum or my mail system. I always get PMs when I enter the site, so Rainer perhaps it is better to send a PM rather than an email, then you know at least the person will see it when they log on ;)

Hi,

I think it is time to upgrade to the latest version 3.2.9 if not already done ¿?

I have two forums based on phpBB and they work trouble free and are on 3.2.9
