Views from the garden and river

Post by Montana » Thu Mar 26, 2020 7:54 pm

Well it is day 4 of total lockdown and now illegal to leave the house except to buy food and take one exercise during the day.

Here is a sunset from two evening exercise walks by the river. We heard Chiffchaffs, so the little migrants from Africa have made it back so no border control there :) and we saw some bats too which were lovely. We have seen a lovely pair of Goosander on the river every evening so far, so they must be resident. We are so lucky to live 3 minutes away from this beauty, I hope they don't ban exercise soon ;)

The neighbours cherry tree which I usually curse due to solar but I quite like it at the moment

and messing with the fish-eye lens at lunchtime, lovely clear sky (no contrails) but the lens refracts the sunlight quite nicely

Nice pics, Alexandra. I think we need more like these from around the globe to keep our spirits up.

Good to hear that you can get out for some exercise, and its fortunate that you have views like this easily accessible.

The ladies were let out to play today. So more hazards on the daily exercise, of course the hubby just had to walk in one ;)

Love the pics Alexandra...moon/Venus will put on a great show the next few nights and and the cow pasture looks very peaceful. Will be a month or more before we have enough grass to support the cows at my brothers.
