MONDAY 29th June'20 LOTS OF PROMS @ MID-DAY

Post by EGRAY-OBSERVATORY » Mon Jun 29, 2020 11:55 am

All four quadrants have lots of proms at around mid-day today, but unable to do any imaging due to 90% cloud-cover in S.E.England.

SDO show these and hopefully some of us will be imaging them to show-up the fab details that we have seen in the past..

CLEAR SKIES

Terry

Hi Mark, similar weather here too, some small cloud openings, but with fast moving clouds...

Hopefully Eric, you will be able to do the honours from the other side of the pond...

Cheers
Terry

Well at least you have a few more hours ahead than the UK DeepSolar64, so looking again at SDO at 1630z - currently shows all four-quadrants active with proms, so hopefully like Pedro, you will do well.

Regards
Terry

This corresponds with the cycle 25 jet streams in each hemisphere and their position the limb...
