The SMII series lives!?

Post by DeepSolar64 » Wed Jul 01, 2020 5:36 am

Over the last several months I had noticed that Meade had discontinued much of the Coronado SolarMax II series Ha scopes on their site. Dealers also have been running low on them or ran out. Sales were to be had. I among many had thought they were gone. Replaced by the SMIII series. But a check on Meade's website shows all now available. I was really surprised but relieved. It means I can still get accessories for both of mine plus others can still buy etalons and blocking filters for their scopes.

Many dealers don't have them and some show discontinued. I wonder still what is going on?

Here is the updated link.

Most likely cause, probably due to man-power (or lack of it) due to the virus ??

Cheers
