A little geomagnetic activity in the form of a G1 geomagnetic storm this week gave rise to some beautiful bright aurora and moved magnetometer 'needles' around the globe. Here are my data, recorded from my back garden here in the UK.
The source of this activity was a significant coronal hole which is continuing to spew sporadically southerly oriented fast flowing solar wind in excess of 450 km/s through which Earth is continuing to travel, so there's a further chance of seeing the aurora today if you're lucky enough to be in the right location
Thanks for looking.
Stuart.

Updated.... Yet more geomagnetic activity over night.
There's more to come with further gusts of solar wind expected over the following days. Good news if you're an aurora chaser
