Post by highfnum »

ch-viladrich and I had some PM messages and he seeded my mind with an idea

i have an omega caH filter that seemed to wide to get cah detail

it behaved like a baader K line

so

i took out my shg to test

so can this be fixed?

if error is not to far away from H line I can tilt filter and bring it back to H line?

so I have skybender tilter and using my caK to visual converter eyepiece

i looked until I see plague area light up

thx Montana
i had filter for a few years
only now i can use it properly

i think its because omega caK line was correct on K spectral line (no tilt needed) but H was not
so i assumed it was in error
